One of the activities that Bubs has been working on in therapy is lacing. Our therapist let us borrow the Alphabet Lacing Letters. I went on line to try and find something like it and found that these Lacing ABC Sweets are about the only of their kind.
What I like so much about this activity is that Bubs has to lace, which is great for fine motor. But he also has to sequence the lower or uppercase letters. As most every child (because of the awful ABC song!), Bubs struggles with the j-k-l-m-n-o-p because the song goes extremely fast through those letters.
The Amazon reviews for the Lacing ABC Sweets weren’t great because of the laces being too big and the holes being too small. We have not had this problem but could see where this could happen. Since there isn’t anything that I have found to be better, I would suggest just using other laces if need be.
