The Charlie Church Mouse Early Elementary CD-Rom is the third in my reviews of Inspired Media Games. Just as with the Preschool and Kindergarten versions, I love the elementary one.
There are six Bible stories included on this CD-Rom.
– Daniel and the Lion’s Den
– Joshua and the Wall of Jericho
– David and Goliath
– The Story of Ruth
– The Pearl of Great Price
– Paul’s Journey to Rome
The child hears the Bible story and then has an activity to help the characters of the story. There are also great coloring sheets to print off for each Bible story. The game contains three skill levels to make the activities a little more difficult and faster when the child is ready.
Each of the games work on different education concepts:
– Greater/Less Than
– Sequencing
– Addition/Subtraction
– Spelling
– Synonyms/Antonyms
– Telling Time
– Counting Money
– Rhyming Words
– Problem Solving
– Critical Thinking
Unlike with the Preschool and Kindergarten games, these adventures have not been added to the ABCJLM curriculum. Not because they aren’t great but because they are at a higher level of learning than most preschool students are ready for. Bubs has played around with the games but most are above his level.
I do believe that this is one activity to keep in mind for early-elementary school time or for a child you know who is already in elementary school.
Please understand that at this price, these are not state of the art graphics. The graphics are simple and nice for the target age group.
