A few weeks ago, I asked for those who are interested in writing “guest posts” for Our Out-of-Sync Life. Miss Cheryl is a preschool teacher in Massachusetts. She is going to be blessing us with blogs about using the ABCJLM Preschool Curriculum in her preschool classroom.
We are busy with our Letter of the Week progression in preschool! We started in October and I absolutely love the speak-ease [Letter Formation Chants] for letter formation, as do our preschoolers!
For the most part the 4-year-old preschoolers are very interested in print, especially in writing their names. We were working on the letter A and the letter B (both uppercase). The ABCJLM instruction of “pull down pull down across” and then “line bubble bubble” is very helpful to them. When they are at the writing table or writing their names on the art work or practicing writing their names on our dry erase name tags, I’ve heard many of them say the chants as they write the letter A or B!

Thank you to Miss Cheryl and each of you who expressed your interest in being a guest blogger. There is always room for more. Just let me know!
