Review: Discover God’s Creation

The Berenstain Bears Discover God’s Creation is one of the newest Berenstain Bear books by the Berenstain trio. By the title, I thought this book would be about the creation story in Genesis. Instead the book encourages children and adults to turn off the TV and go enjoy God’s creation.

Momma C’s Thoughts: Like many of the Berenstain Bear books, this one contains four-strain-rhyming lines. This makes it fun to read and encourages children to fill in the rhyming word. TV watching is a huge problem in today’s society. I love how the authors use the beauty of God’s creation to encourage kids to get outside. This is a good reminder for parents as well to “unplug.” After reading, we each described our favorite part of God’s creation.
