Review: P.K. Hallinan Books

In November I introduced you to my new favorite kids author, P. K. Hallinan.  I suggested using the book, Let’s
Be Thankful, to begin your Thankgiving holidays. 

But, P. K. Hallinan is not a one-book-wonder!  He has a slew of fabulous books to use with preschool and elementary-aged children.  All contain valuable moral lessons and are applicable to a child’s life.

Below are the books that I specifically reviewed.  Each of these books are board books but I have seen the same stories available in hardcover as well.  This is especially important when you want to read these books with older children who are too cool for board books. 

Each story uses rhyming lines to teach the lesson.  The illustrations are sweet and fun for kids and adults alike.  I appreciate how the illustrations include children of all sizes, nationality, and abilities.  Many of the books include children in wheelchairs or using other assistance.
