Reviews: 3 New Bible Storybooks

Zonderkidz continues to offer great children’s books based upon Bible stories.  Here are three new options! 

Animal Tales from the Bible: Four Favorite Stories About Jesus tells four Bible stories from the perspective of four different animals – a fox, cat, magpie, and mouse.  Although not my favorite, it allows the readers to see a unique view of four very popular Bible stories about Jesus. 

I don’t know what it is about this Bible but I really liked it.  Probably it is the rhyming lines which makes The Rhyme Bible Storybook easy to read out loud.   The illustrations pop off the pages.  I also like the scripture reference provided with each story.

Favorite Parables from the Bible: Stories Jesus Told contains a collection of eight simple yet fun parables of Jesus. Assumed humor is pulled from the Bible stories and added to these stories.  The illustrations are soft and show the emotions of the characters.  Bubs and I enjoyed reading these out loud.
