It has been quite a week.
As many of you know, the ABC Jesus Loves Me website was down intermittently for a few days. While it is up currently, there is a lot of work that needs to be done to fix the problem.
Secondly, Bubs has an important doctor’s appointment this week at the Children’s Hospital with the neurologist. Since this is a new doctor, I am trying to get paper work and test scores gathered and prepared for the appointment.
Last, I have been away from home during all of this trying desperately to keep the boat from sinking.
Temporary trials. Those things that cause me to stub my toe and trip. Sometimes causing me to tumble down to the ground.
Here is something to ponder today…
In His mercy, God would rather we go through temporary trials that draw us close to Him now, than for us to skip happily into eternity without ever knowing Him.
Let’s be honest. My frustrations this week have been very minor. In a year, they will be not worth mentioning. They are temporary. But to God, these trials are growth points for me. They are the pruning to make me stronger and to help me know Him better.
Is the trial worth it to you? It is to God!
