Today is day three of 2014 and already two pages of your “book” has been written.
I pray that the Challenge for Change, the past blog posts, my “A Quiet Time, Worth the Time” ebook, and the encouragement from your SISTERS have helped you begin this new year strong. I pray that “Drawing Deep” has allowed you to go deeper in your quiet time. I pray that you have begun writing a great book.
Now, there are 363 blank pages left in our books. There are 363 mornings where God will be waiting for us to come feast at His feet. Our prayer journals contain 363 blank enteries waiting to be filled with wisdom from the Bible and raw emotions poured out to our Savior. This year contains 363 days for us to love those around us as Jesus would love them.
2014 is a book in the history of our lives. Every morning, journal
entry, and day of this year’s “book” will contain some writing.
The question is: What will fill your book?
What will fill my book?
Here is my prayer for all of us this year from Ephesians 1:17-20.
Daddy, for 2014, I ask for spiritual wisdom and revelation so that we may know You better. Open our eyes so that we may know the HOPE You have given us. The HOPE of a glorious inheritance and the power that You provide for us. This is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at the right hand of You.
