Summer is a great time to join local reading programs and let your kiddos receive prizes. Here are a couple places to check out. Please help me add to the list!
Barnes and Nobles – Download a reading journal, read eight books, and choose a free book!
Library Programs – Call your local library to find out about the reading programs available. We are doing two different programs this year with our library. The first is a weekly program where the kiddos listen to a story, sing a song, and do a craft. The second is a program where we read books, write down on a log, and then return to the library weekly for prizes. At the end of the session last year, the kids got tickets to a game at the local baseball team!
