Have you seen some of the additions on the ABCJLM website? After reading your comments on the ABCJLM survey, I went to work.
First, you will find a combined list of the preschool songs, nursery rhymes, finger plays, and poems. There you can see the titles and words to each of these used in the curriculum.
Secondly, I have added a list of preschool activity games to play. The standard Duck, Duck Goose and Red Rover games along with older games like Button, Button and Doggie, Doggie, Who Has Your Bone. There are a few new games like Squirrel in the Tree. All of these games are simple enough for preschool children to play and most require little or no supplies. Most of these games can be played both indoors or out.
In case you missed them, Memory Verse Cards have been created. Each card contains the verse, reference, and a corresponding picture. Also listed is the week and curriculum the verse is used in the ABJCLM lesson plans (i.e. 4 Year Week 6). Each memory verse contains a different picture to aid in learning. Four cards are printed on an 8 1/2 x 11 page piece of paper. Print on cardstock to make them more durable. Rubber band together or hole punch and combine with a c-ring.
Lately, several of you have also taken the time to email me about failed links. I can’t thank you enough. Elizabeth let me know about one link which led me to several that were broken due to a website changing their web address. Keep it up!
And yes…I am working on creating a 2 Year and 5 Year Curriculum. I am praying about how this is going to look. Please let me know your thoughts and ideas. I covet your prayers during this process.
Your comments are vital to me improving the ABCJLM website and this blog.
