The final book in my Usborne review is The Usborne Big Book of Things to Spot. This book contains over 4,000 pictures to find. Amazing! This a book that will go everywhere with you – to the doctors office, on a plane, traveling in the car, or just at home during quiet time.
Beyond the “I Spy” concept, what I love about this book is that counting is incorporated. Not only do you look for an object, you have to find a certain amount of each object. Also there is a specific item (the same item) to find on each page of the section.
This book contains four sections: 1001 Animals to Spot, 1001 Things to Spot on the Farm, 1001 Things to Spot in the Town, 1001 Things to Spot Long Ago. The child is introduced for many animals, objects, and things from up to 4,000 years ago in the marketplace.
The only suggest that I have for this book is that it comes in a pocket size!
