Bubs has had the opportunity to join a social group at therapy. The time worked for us and because interns are leading the group there is no cost! In the social group they set up situations where the children have to learn to share, show good manners, handle tough situations, etc. For example, during the craft time, they will purposely not have enough scissors for each child. Also, they will have several sensory materials during the craft time. Game time always involves a winner and the rest losing the game.
Bubs did great his first week. We are anxious to see how things go the next few weeks!
