As you have read through the posts on this blog, you may feel like I have spoken out of both sides of my mouth.
On one post, I am saying that God doesn’t care how much laundry I have but it is about my attitude.
In the next post, I write about my convictions to have our home close to company-ready at all times.
My heart knows that this time with our littles is fleeting but my head reminds me that meals still have to be prepared and laundry still has to be maintained.
How can it be both?
I believe that a family can have both a straight house and a mom who spends time with her kiddos. I believe that a family can have home cooked meals and a family that is involved in their community. I believe that a family can consist of secure children and a married couple who spends quality one-on-one time together. I believe that a child can have quality and quantity time with each parent.
Answer? Only with the guidance and help of the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, guide us throughout our days as we balance the many roles we have. Make clear when we are unbalanced in our priorities. Speak loud and clear. We want to hear You. In Jesus’ name…

Thank you friend for this encouragement! Even in the face of seemingly insurmountable tasks: to-do lists, meals to be put up etc, oh yeah and the kids, don't forget the kids, He is with us and will not forsake even us whooped mommies:)
Thank you so much for that post, I needed it. Also I wanted to thank you for your fantastic curriculum. It is so great to find it all in one place. I've wasted so much time over the years, but you've thought it all out really well and put it in one spot. Just wish I'd found you earlier. The activities are educational, and not expensive. I really do appreciate all bthe effort that has gone into this, it makes my life easier and I can spend more time with my children and less time searching for preschool curriculum.
