Today’s post is short. But don’t assume the shortness equates to lack of quality. Because, today I am going to ask the most important question of your and my lives.
How is your relationship with God?
I used to think that this question was based strictly on a yes or no answer. And it does begin there.
Do you have a personal relationship with God?
If you say no, the answer to this relationship question is “none existent.” Your relationship with God is none existent unless you have accepted God’s gift, believed in Jesus Christ, and confessed your sins and need of a Savior.
But for those who have a personal relationship with our King (I have been saved from eternal death), our answer to this question should be “growing.” My relationship with God should be growing on a daily basis.
How does growth happen?
- Spending quality, personal time with Him each day (quiet time, devotions)
- Actively participating in a Bible believing church (there is more to church than just showing up)
- Growing with friends (accountability, small group, Bible study)
So, I ask again. How is your relationship with God?
Be honest. God already knows the truth.
If you have never made that decision to follow God, please contact me. I would love to talk to you!
