Through this blog, I want to empower you to train your children, love those around you, and to help you grow spiritually.

I would love posts about discipline (specifically for the 2-year-olds), and how to work my own times of prayer/reading/devotions into life with 2 little ones. Oh, and I'm always interested in recipes/meal ideas for toddlers.

I would love to hear about many of things you posted, but I do want to learn on how to use the ABCJLM curriculum. Starting homeschool this fall, to my 4 year old. I have already been working with her the past year, and now wanting to start with my 2 year old. I love your site, and the curriculum you have and plan on buying. Thank you for the blog and the website.

I like what you have on your blog already, but the subjects I would really like to see more on is Mommyhood, training children, homemaking, crafty ideas, and using ABCJLM curriculum. Using the ABCJLM Curriculum is high on my list. It's not time to start the curriculum with my daughter, but when the time comes I would love to have seen examples, etc of how to use it. Thank you for this blog and for the curriculum it is the preschool curriculum me and my husband plan on using.

Your list is great! But, I'm always interested in learning what other Christian families do for discipline. It's a topic that's fairly taboo, and I think it's great you're willing to talk about it!

Everything you listed above sounds good…I have been homeschooling my 7 year old and a 4 year old since they were toddlers and I have an almost 2 year old. I need help balancing taking care of a home, a family, and schooling multiple children. ๐

I would love to hear about most of those things you have posted–maybe even all of them! Whatever God puts on your heart. Being a mommy of a preschooler and a toddler make life seem like such a juggling act, and it's easy to feel like I'm falling so short of what I ought to do. Thank you so much for your blog and your website! I treasure them!

I love your site's. I need encouragement and help with training my children and lots of help with not yelling at them. Really I love all your posts on the many different topics. Most days it is just what I am needing for the day so thank you so much for sharing yourself and God's message through yourself.Thank you again

Hi,
I found your blog and curriculum when I was searching about SPD, special needs, and preschool curriculums. We adopted a special little one when she was a little over 2 years old. She is 6 now. As we've grown in the last 4 years with adoption, special needs, therapies, labels (many) and everything else that comes along with a child from very hard places, I have needed the support, encouragement, education, but mostly the realness of one mom to another about the hard, normal stuff of life when parenting a child with needs. Mostly though is the focus on our Savior as we walk this life. The goal, His word and teaching our little ones! I love your realness and don't even mind more. ๐
I would love to hear more about SPD, how to use ABCJLM with a special one, training a little one with those special needs, smiling when you want to cry and His word thru all this. ๐
I pray I made sense, specially since the brain is mostly fried these days. ๐
Blessings, Marna

I would like to see more posts on staying connected to older children/teens. I want to discipline appropriately, (not in an authoritarian manner but also not to be too lenient)and child heart and character training for girls, age 10 and up. Thank you! ๐

I am so happy that I discovered the abcjlm curriculum and this blog. My son will be 3 in a couple of months and we are expecting a little girl about the same time! I would love more information on incorporating the abcjlm curriculum, discipline and how to juggle two kids while being organized in our home and using time wisely. I'm not a very scheduled person, so I need ideas on how to be an organized stay at home mom! thank you so much for everything! God Bless!

I think that a little of everything on your list is a good way to go. Then, you aren't stuck for what to write about. Life happens while you're standing still and your kids fly by you on their way out the door :-). I am going to start the 2year curriculum with my 3 year old in August. He is playing catch up with his speech so we are starting with the basics and will go on to the 3rd year if he shows he is ready, so I will be eagerly watching your blog and the fb page to see your hints and encouragement in my first teaching experience with him.

I have used your 3 year curriculum for both my 3 yr old and 5 yr old. Now I have an 18 month old that I will be using the 2 yr curriculum probably next year. Would like to hear more about using the curriculum with multiple children. Love your blog and website. I agree with the above comment. You should keep doing a little of everything. All of those subjects are of interest to any mom. I always look forward to reading your blogs. Thank you so much in all you do with this website!

I would enjoy and benefit from reading about being the light of Christ in all areas of life- mother, wife, friend, neighbor. Also, tips for using your curriculum for multiple ages. My boys are 2 yrs apart. Thanks!

Thank you so much for this website. It has been a great help to me. I have a 4 year old and an 18 month old. I just started the curriculum in January with my oldest and will start with my youngest when he turns 2. I would love and benefit from pretty much any of the ideas you listed. I work part-time and take the kids with me to work. So maybe especially ideas on how to be more organized with housework, how to fit the curriculum in when working, and how to do multiple curriculums for different ages. Thank you so much for all your help!

Hi,
My name is Katrina and I'm a first year momma to home schooling. I have 5 children in total ages 22 down to 2 years of age. The 2 I'm home schooling are ages 6 (with some learning disabilities), and age 2. Both are precious little boys.
I'm home schooling for multiple reasons. One of which is that God is no longer welcome at the public school so why should my children go there. I don't approve of a lot of what is taught and allowed to go on inside schools or on buses. Moral values are gone… Also with my 6 year olds learning disabilities I worry that the teachers wouldn't have the appropriate amount of patience to deal with him. As his mom its hard at times but I love him and his siblings more than anything. I fully understand his disabilities and know how to cope with them. I currently don't have a curriculum and am not sure which I should use…. So far I've put together a little here and a little there pulling materials from several sources. Starfall seems to be his favorite so far.
We just finished up our first year of Homeschooling. I think it was a very successful year for all of us. We had days where it was very smooth and easy and others where everything was a struggle. How do you cope with days when the children refuse to focus? I normally waited an hour or so and tried again… I would love more topic's on Godly discipline.
On a personal level maybe more on being a Godly friend, on being a Godly wife, and mother. Also, learning to forgive others but then what? Do we open ourselves back up to be hurt again or do we shut the offender out?? This is a tough one for me right now.
I would also love more crafting ideas. My boys love to make things for mom to hang up and show off for the year. Thank you!!!

I work at a Christian preschool part time and have two children that I bring there with me. One is 3 and is learning quite a bit but now my schedule starts at noon and she misses chapel time and the learning. I would love this blog to help me with a curriculum I can use at home for her as well as guidance for mommy hood and time management since I also have a 9 month old and barely have time to get us to school. I was also love inspiration to implement God's word in our daily schedule. Thanks!

I like a lot of the topics from your list! But I guess the biggest thing for me is disciple and training up my children. We love your curriculum and can't wait to start the 4yr program. Just waiting for the worksheets and hopefully we'll start sometime after boy #2 is born! Thanks for the chance!

I need help with time management. I have a 3 month old and a 21 month old. I've tried pulling certain things from ABCJLM to give it a try before we dive in, in August. I'm really struggling with how to fit everything in. Mommy, Wife, working from home part time, dinner AND a clean house, YIKES! I just can't figure out how I am going to fit all of the 2yr curriculum in. I would love to hear how other moms do it!

I would like to hear about how to hold a 4 year old boys attention long enough to homeschool him! Also, how to balance running a household, while being able to provide enough attention to my four year old while taking care of a baby, and being able to have enough time to spend with god and in his word. I feel stretched thin!

I'm thrilled to find this website! I'm going to start schooling my 2 yr. old in the fall and your curriculum is the one for us! I struggle w/ balancing time w/ my child and all my other "duties". I'd love to see how your day looks as far as time spent w/ children & time spent on everything else. I seem to have a hard time finding a balance between the 2.

I'll have to echo JenM – I have a 2.5 year old who is proving difficult to discipline. My biggest problem is I don't know how much of what I say he understands, but I have to keep trying!

I would benefit tremendously from the following topics: being a better christian, wife and mother homeschooling. I look forward to what you have in store for us. Thanks for all that you do!

Hi Heidi, My son will be 4 in two weeks and prayerfully my husband and I have decided that homeschooling is the way for us to go. I feel so thankful that I have work-from-home job that can accomdate this blessing. So I am getting ready to pre-school my son from home and I came across your website and blog. ๐ The ideas you posted above ALL sound really great as I'm a student hoping to gleen from other homeschooling mom's and their advice/perspectives, especially from a spiritually-minded point of view. To throw in my oar, I would say that a couple of topics I would love to hear more about in your blog are the ones dealing with Scriptural discipline. I'll also throw this one out there… my husband seems to get much more impatient with our son than I do when it comes to discipline and sometime I feel like our son is getting mixed signals. We both have the desire to both be on the same page but any thoughts you have on that subject would be great too. I look forward to reading your blogs! ~Dana
