We are closing in on the second week of D2D. Are you starting to lose your zeal?
I understand. We are undertaking a large task and it gets overwhelming and tiring.
Let’s go to the source of encouragement. The Bible.
Colossians 3:23 –
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
Is cleaning our homes work for the Lord?
One of the ABCJLM friends wrote this comment on Facebook:
Your posts lately are going right along with our sermon series about getting rid of baggage to make room for blessing.
I love the imagery. Exchanging baggage for blessings!
Friends, we can’t take baggage to eternity. Time to get rid of it!
Keep on and reap the eternal rewards. I am excited to see God’s blessings!
Tomorrow…bathrooms!
"The Family" says
I started working on the master bathroom since I did the master bedroom last week, only two bedrooms in our house so I was done with them by the end of last week. The master bathroom is tiny and I often close the door so I don't have to deal with looking at it. So this week I decided on making it a little sanctuary all its own….my husband uses the time in the shower to talk to God so it is an important room for him. I got rid of a lot of things under the sink we don't use and went through the medicine cabinet. Today I am washing the shower curtain and mats, dusting, and vacuuming/mopping the floor. I am looking forward to getting this bathroom beautiful for my Savior!!!
