We picked up the book Crippled Lamb (Max Lucado’s Christmas Collections) by Max Lucado at the library. When I pulled it off the shelf to read, Bubs said “I won’t like this book.” Talk about judging the book by its cover!
But as we read about this little lamb, Bubs’ demeanor did a 180. I saw his face as he fell in love with the little lamb and figured out on his own who the baby in the story is.
Like many of Max Lucado’s book, he continually reminds the reader that God has a special plan for every person. God isn’t finished with you. God didn’t make a mistake when He made you. A message that I want our children to never forget.
The Crippled Lamb is an excellent Christmas story for young and old.
