The Berenstain Bears: Faithful Friends is one of several books in the Living Lights series. I have done several reviews of the Berenstain Bear books and rarely am I disappointed. I have given at least 4 Bibles to almost all of them.
In Faithful Friends, Sister has a fight with her best friend Lizzy. It happens when Sister begins spending time with a new girl at school. Cousin Fred reminds Sister of a verse in the Bible about friendship (Prov 27:6). Sister learns to turn the other cheek and reach out to Lizzy.
Friendship is a hard concept at any age. This book approaches it a little different by encouraging the person who has been hurt to go to their friend and find out what is wrong. I especially like the activities and questions at the end of the book. With solid Christian values, this book is a great choice for teaching good social skills.
