This week, I am focusing on the “home” aspect of being a wife and mom. The struggle to get it all done while still focusing on those that are important.
Here are two quotes that I recently heard:
It is not how much we do but how much love we put into it. M. S.
It is not how much we give but how much love we put into what we give. Mother Teresa
These quotes got me thinking about my the short amount of time that God has granted me to love on my little ones. I can “do” to death. I can “give” to death. But, if my actions are not swaddled in love, they are pointless.
Am I doing dishes in love?Am I providing meals in love?
Am I playing tractors in love?
Am I cleaning toilets in love?
God has been showing up in my quiet time with the key word “love”. This is one more place where I am asking the Holy Spirit to remind me – guide me as I am growing in my spiritual walk.
What is God teaching you right now?
LaToya says
Love and Forgiveness have been to two words popping up over and over in my devotion times, sermons at church and in prayer. Both are things that I struggle with especially when it comes to my children.
