Isn’t this a precious picture? Those precious moments of Motherhood. Those times that I beg God to help me never forget. For me it is those moments when my child and I are loving on each other with laughter, smiles, and hugs. Being a mother is amazing.
Well, most of the time.
Remember me spewing out my frustrations a few days ago in the post “Excuse Me While I Go Scream.” Umm…yeah… There are days when I seriously want to hide in the closet. Unfortunately that isn’t a real good parenting tactic.
My friend sent me a link to a blog post called Motherhood as a Mission Field. It is perfect; reminding me that I don’t have to leave my home to make a difference eternally.
Take a moment to read this blog and be encouraged.

This made I think if something I just read this morning in the book "Be Joyful by Warren W. Wiersbe's. He wrote: "Young mothers may feel chained to the home as they care for their children, but God can use those chains to reach people with the message of salvation." As a homeschooling mom of three, this gave me the reminder that the work I do for and with my children is beyond "today", it will reach many generations to come, both through my biological decendants and the lives that are touched and the souls that may be saved through my defendants. Which has made me realize and consider more deeply just what I should be focusing on teaching my children! The center of all they learn must revolve around our Savior!
