Wow…it has been a full week and a half of blogs. Starting with the four-day series called “So Much to Tell You” and then 23 Things (I Don’t Want You to Know) About Me (updated). Transparency at its greatest! To wrap it all up, I gave you an inside, future look at ABCJLM in the “State of ABC Jesus Loves Me” Address.
As I wrote these blogs I prayed that God would use them in great ways. I prayed that they would help tear down the walls that we have around our hearts. The facades that keep us from being real. Were you encouraged in read them? I would love to hear about it. If you missed any of these blogs, please go back and read them. God has something to say to you!
In talking to my husband about these posts, I have felt led to drop another facade.
This is something that my family has gone back and further on. Do we? Don’t we? Does it matter? How will this affect our future? Praying and seeking wisdom.
But after the last week and a half of blogs, we feel it is time to lose the “Momma C” title and start using my first name. Allow you to recognize me as a mom just like you instead of some figment of your imagination; a “character” who has a blog and website.
Without anymore introduction, let me introduce myself…
Hello, my name is Heidi!
I am the mommy to four blessings, the wife to my soul mate, and the daughter of the King of Kings! A farm girl at heart, we are raising our family as close to country life as we can surrounded by trees and rolling pasture land in Arkansas. My normal day consists of waking up to time with my Savior, answering your emails, cooking, cleaning, playing, teaching, laughing, loving, going to bed and doing it all over again.
When I can grasp some free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, scrapbooking, and hanging with my friends. My absolutely favorite thing to do is laugh with my friends and family.
God has given me a passion for children and moms. He took this passion and created ABC Jesus Loves Me. I am humbled and extremely excited to be His vessel to help families, churches, and preschools teach children the Good News of Jesus.
As I communicate with so many of you through the internet, I realize that we will probably not meet on this side of eternity. So, I am thankful that we have this blog, the forum, and Facebook to encourage each other. But, I look forward to the day that we can be joined together to forever worship our King!
