Found this poem floating through Facebook friends. I pray that Sweet Pea will remember this truth. I pray my boys will understand the honesty of this poem.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart" Jeremiah 1:5 I hope some poor lost girl who has not yet received God's grace doesn't read this and then think that she is not worthy of God's love and forgiveness. Last I checked there is none that is free from sin.
That is what is so amazing about God's grace and love for us. He does forgive us. He looks at us and smiles at our beauty. All we have to do is announce the lies and believe the truth. No matter what our past contains, we can hold our heads high knowing that we are forgiven and beautiful. No girl, no matter what her past holds, should feel "rotten." But we all need to believe the truth and know that God has the best in store for us if we wait on His timing. Praise God for His love, forgiveness, and clean start.
