When I see the image above, I think “ahhhh.”
When the Wahl company sees the images above, they think Wahl 4290 Deep-tissue Percussion Therapeutic Massager.
The difference? None.
I have to admit that I was pretty sceptical of this hand-held massager but turned out to be pleasantly surprised. My parents were visiting and I even got them in on the review.
The cord. The Wahl company was thinking when they put this super long cord on the massager. Very good.
Four attachments come with the device. I was surprised to feel a distinct difference between each. Personally, I liked the round ball (pictured) the best but the others have their place. My Dad enjoyed the four-pronged massager on his feet. I did not try this because I don’t like my feet touched!
As a tender-backed person, I would have liked to see the “low” setting be gentler. For me, the variance between high and low was not great enough. The great thing is that you can control the force by the pressure that you place on the item.
I found it very easy to use on myself. The angle of the handle is great. Using it on someone else was a little awkward for me because I couldn’t feel where the bones in the back were. I tried to go around the spine but wasn’t sure I succeeded. Call that user inadequacy if you desire.
When using the attachments, be sure to screw them in all of the way. If not, the machine produces a very loud vibration.
Over all, I was impressed. Now, how to train my husband to use it on my knotted muscles…
