Let’s introduce ourselves. I am Heidi and I am the faciliator of this blog.
According to Dictionary.com this means that I am “responsible for leading or coordinating the work of a group, as one who leads a group discussion.”
But what is the work of our group?
First, there is not a mom out there who needs more work added to her plate. So let’s scratch that word off and replace it with purpose.
So, what is the work purpose of our group?
I believe it is to encourage each other as we grow in our relationship with God and as we train the little blessings around us.
While I take responsbility for leading, I desire for you to grasp on to our purpose.
Don’t worry. I have made your part easy.
From today on, you will see a “Time to Talk” section at the end of each post.
Here I will ask a question or give you a thought to comment on. This will create a discussion for our group. I hope that you will weigh in with what you have learned, ideas that you are thinking through, and questions that you have. It is through your comments that you encourage me and others and thus grasp the purpose of our group.
So, let’s practice…
We want to get to know you! Introduce yourself, please!

If you are new to ABCJLM or this blog, you may not know me. So, let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name Heidi. I am the mommy to four blessings and the wife of my best friend. A farm girl at heart, we are raising our family as close to country life as we can surrounded by trees and rolling pastures in Arkansas. My normal day consists of waking up to time with my Savior, answering your emails, cooking, cleaning, playing, teaching, laughing, loving, going to bed and doing it all over again!
I am excited to have you part of my cyber family and look forward to getting to know you.
Jenny Whitaker says
My name is Jenny. I am the mommy of one adorable little girl (one year old) with child number two debuting this November! I plan to Homeschool my children starting at the preschool/early childhood age/stage, which is how I found ABCJLM and the wonderful Heidi. My ministry is to first grow as a disciple of Christ, be a helper to my husband, train up the children God has given me, and finally to minister to others as God gives me opportunity. That finds me mainly at home cooking, cleaning, organizing, learning, teaching, etc., but mainly that finds me mostly happy (and occasionally tired – especially being pregnant with number two now). All-in-all I feel incredibly blessed to have the life I do. Looking very much forward to the upcoming changes in the blog!! Thanks for your ministry Heidi!

Welcome Jenny! I hope that you will continue to share your experiences.

Hello, my name is Rashelle. I am a wife and a mother of 4. Ages are 12, 5, 3 1/2, and 17mos old. We also live the country life in the middle of Kansas. I have a nursing license but have put that career aside and now staying at home with little ones. I do not homeschool but do like to incorporate as much fun and learning in a day for my kids. They are all very active children so I am always on my toes. I enjoy hearing all the ideas and wisdom you give through your blog. Look forward to hearing more.

Rashelle – Welcome to the ABCJLM Family! Gotta love those active children. I feel like I should have taken ballet. Maybe my toes won't be so tired now!

Hello…my name is Katrina. I am a SAHM in the suburbs of Chicago. I have 2 sons, 4 and 6, one of which can be challenging with some of the same symptoms of being sensory sensitive, as well as other issues. I am trying to train our children up in the way of the Lord. I appreciate the focus of ABCJLM and do many of our own activities at home even though I do not homeschool. Thanks!

Katrina – I love your heart. That is my desire as well.
