We all know the importance of praying for our husbands. But sometimes even the smallest things can seem difficult. Here is an idea from Your Husband Your Friend
and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.”
Pray:
- That your husband will having the spiritual wisdom and understanding he needs to know God’s will.
- That he will “walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects” (v. 10).
- That your husband will bear “fruit in all good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (v 10).
- That he will be “strengthened with all power…for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience (v. 11).
Dear Father, I ask that You will fill my husband with the knowledge of Your will so that he will live a life worthy of You and that his life may be pleasing to You. Lord, I ask that my husband would bear fruit so that You will be glorified in His life. Help my husband to grow in his knowledge of You. Provide him with strength through Your power so that he may have great endurance and patience when trials come. In Jesus’ name…
