My kids love to make new colors with paint. Mix a color here with another color there and voila – a new color!
Fall and Thanksgiving are great times to create the color orange with a little yellow and red paint.
Print the Orange Pumpkin poster. Ask the child what color a pumpkin is. Add a dot of yellow and red fingerpaint to the poster. Instruct the child to mix the colors to paint the pumpkin see a surprise appear.
For further learning, have the child cut out the pumpkin once dry.
