Sweet Pea loves to write her name. I often wondered what it was about her name that enamored her so much. One day it hit me that it isn’t so much about her name as it is about letters. She {LOVES} drawing letters and making the font vary depending on the need.

After watching the video you can guess that everyone who holds this Bible wants to slide their fingers through the sequins. My kiddos did the same thing!
Beyond the fun cover, The Sparkle and Change Bible by Tommy Nelson features the Full International Children’s Bible text and 24 pages of colorful helps. The larger font makes it easier for a child to read and follow. My favorite part of the Bible is the 300 highlighted key memory verses. Work through these with your child to hide God’s Word in their heart.

Beloved: 365 Devotions for Young Women Giveaway
Sweet Pea is almost finished with her current devo and I am always looking for the next quality one to fill her mind with truth and encouragement.
When I first looked at the Beloved: 365 Devotions for Young Women I was concerned that the daily devos were too short and thus lacking substance. But it didn’t take long to realize that my initial disappointment was premature.
Focusing on the topics that are filling the minds of teen girls, I love how this devo dives into the lives of inspiring girls and women inthe Bible – such as Ruth, Esther, Mary, and Abigail. And by moving through the Bible from Genesis to 2 Timothy, the daily readings build to further explain the Bible to the reader. Each page includes journaling space and 1-2 Bible verses. The devo then explains and makes the verses personal to a teen girl’s life.
I’m excited to place this devo under the Christmas tree for Sweet Pea (age 12).
