According to a 2016 TODAY survey of 7,000 U.S. mothers, “42 percent said that they sometimes suffer from Pinterest stress – the worry that they’re not crafty or creative enough. Jealousy and envy raise their evil heads quickly when we see something that we desire. And with the internet and home-improvement shows frequently filling our minds, it is easy to begin coveting what others have.
But keeping up with the Jones is a fierce game to drag our family into.
Want to take yourself out of this losing battle? I believe this quote has the answer.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Did you catch the running theme? Gratitude.
Our wants are transformed into thankfulness when we become grateful for what we have.
We reduce our stress when we focus on what we have been given instead of what we don’t have.
Gratitude will help us realize that we all have enough, and more.
I pray that the Thanksgiving Traditions that I have shared these past few weeks have provided your family with activities to build an attitude of gratitude. And, a better understanding of a God who loves to provide for His children.
Happy Thanksgiving!
