Purchase 2 lbs stew meat. If needed, cut this into small pieces. The great thing – no browning! Just dump it into a greased 9×13″ pan. How cool is that?
Add 1 cup canned tomatoes.
Using 6 carrots – peel and cut up. (I use a can of carrots a lot of times.)
Add to the mixture.
Add four potatoes – cubed. (If using new potatoes, I don’t peel.)
Add 1 diced onion, 3 Tablespoons tapioca, 1 1/2 t. salt, 2 slices bread (broken up), and 1 cup water
Cover tightly with foil. Bake for 3 1/2 hours. The longer baking time allows the meat to fall apart. Delicious!

Stew
2 pound stew meat (cut these into small pieces)

6 small carrots (cut-up)
4 potoates (diced)
1 onion diced
3 Tablespoons tapioca
1 1/2 t. salt
2 slices bread (broken up)
1 cup water
Combine all ingredients and do not brown meat. Put into greased 9 x 13 inch pan and cover.
