We have three very strong-willed children with one more in question. They come by it honestly because their Momma is a very strong-willed adult! They are all strong-willed in different ways. They battle different things and in different ways. But each of them will fight to the end for what they believe in. An amazing quality that can drive their parents crazy!
Yesterday and today Focus on the Family is airing the program “Surviving the Strong-Willed Child.” Here is a major point that I appreciated.
It isn’t that you have to get the strong will out of the child. It is that you need to teach that child how use that strong will in a way that bring honor and glory of God.
