Two weeks ago I finished the 4 Year Curriculum. Today, I finished the 3 Year Curriculum. Boy am I excited! You told me what you wanted to see changed/added and I went to work. If you remember, the 4 Year Curriculum had quite a few changes. The 3 Year Curriculum has gone through much less revamping. None the less, changes still.
Here is a list of changes and additions:
Bible Stories – There are now only three Bible stories that duplicate between the 3 and 4 Year Curriculum (Christmas, Easter, and 10 Commandments). The 3 Year Curriculum still contains the most famous preschool Bible stories in a chronological order. Every lesson now contains comprehension questions along with coloring sheets and activities to reinforce the lesson. Instead of spending several weeks on Creation and Noah, Genesis 1 covers two weeks while Noah only covers one week of learning. Baby Moses, the Red Sea, and Zacchaeus are now stories that are covered.
Bible Verses – After doing the curriculum with my children, I have seen that they can handle more Bible verses. So, I have reduced the review to average just twice instead of three times in the curriculum. Almost every verse is on the Hide Em in Your Heart Vol 1 and 2 CDs making the memorization easier.
Songs – I have added new songs and cut down on repetition. Again, almost every song is available on either the 100 Hymns & Praise Songs for Kids or The Ultimate Bible Song Collection for Kids CD set.
Everything else (fine and gross motor, letters, math, etc.) has stayed the same. You can view all of the changes on the 36 Week Overview Table.
I have also created Lesson Plan Overviews. Each lesson plan is broken down into sections. The information will help you better understand the lesson plans. Click for: 3 Year and 4 Year
As I worked on this, I prayed for complete hearing of the Holy Spirit to guide me to make changes that will be best for the ABCJLM families and schools who use the curriculum.
Secondly, the new 3 and 4 Year Curriculum are now ready to order. All orders for both Curriculum will include the changes. Please understand that I have done a excessive amount of proofreading. But with approximately 200 pages and myself lacking an English degree, there will be mistakes. Would you bless me by emailing mistakes that you find, please?
For those of you who have emailed me with encouragement and covered me with prayer during this process, thank you. To my mom who helped me do research…you are amazing!
Anxious to hear your thoughts!!!

I have to say I think this site rocks. Thank you for your time, effort and dedication. I have been teaching my now 3yr old (at home) since he was about 18mths old. He's actually reading books now (Curious Gerorge and he loves the Mr.Men books by Roger Hargreaves.) But I was looking for more structure and spiritual depth to my teachings and your site has helped me tremendously. Thanks for that.
Blessings to you and all who help you with the ABCJLM site.
