Momma C’s Thoughts:
Super easy to use, Sweet Pea (4 1/2 years old) quickly caught on and began doing the activity by herself. She enjoyed making button after button and snapping them into the accessories. The only thing she struggled with was folding the material down. But, if she didn’t get it all folded down, I just took it apart and she started over. Something that older kids wouldn’t have had trouble doing.
With the activities of a 4 1/2 year old, the buttons didn’t always stay snapped into the jewelry as well as I would have hoped. She lost more than one button while going throughout her day. The necklace didn’t stay latched real well.
I checked to see if we could get more buttons and snap accessories (rings, necklace, etc) but never found them. I will keep looking though because Sweet Pea would really like more for her birthday or Christmas.
This activity kit is filled with so much potential. The idea book is very helpful. At her preschool age, Sweet Pea has only graced the opportunities that she can have with this fun kit.
FYI – When I opened the box, a little tiny 1″ long pin fell out. I am so glad that I didn’t lose it because it attached the handle on the button maker!

During warmer weather months, my daughter loves for us to snuggle up on the hammock under the trees (and near a bubbling brook) and read. We usually each have our own books, but sometimes she chooses a book to share. It's a quiet, simple time!

My 4 1/2 year old daughter and I have been having fun stringing beads lately. That's why this caught my eye. The beads were hand-me-downs from someone in a box of crafts they never used. What a great treasure to find! Great for counting, patterens, and sorting. And making jewelery, of course 🙂
