When you think back through your years on this earth, what have been those key moments that have changed your life? Maybe it was a sermon at church. A book that you read. A conversation with a friend. A camp or retreat you attended. Those moments in time that were pivotal to your maturity and growth. Those moments that forced you to curve right when you thought were you on the straight and narrow with decisions.
I have no doubt that I will look back on Priscilla Shirer’s book Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize When God is Speaking as an essential moment in my spiritual walk. A moment where I thought I was doing okay (status quo) but realized that my life was so far from where I deeply desired.
I think it is time for the third ABCJLM Book Study.

I am Hoping to learn to be more consistent with sitting quietly and patiently waiting to hear from God. I Have such a hard time just sitting still and waiting , I always have some to go do. I want to learn this so I can pass it on to my children while they are young.
