One of the joys of owning a blog is being able to provide you with awesome products! I have loved our seven giveaways thus far.
Today, I have the opportunity to giveaway two dōTERRA products: doTERRA Lavender
and doTERRA Correct-X Essential Ointment.
For people who care about improving their health and that of their loved ones, we provide simple, safe and empowering solutions that enhance well-being. dōTERRA International
An ABCJLM user and dōTERRA conulstant, Lindsay sent me these two products to try and giveaway.
doTERRA Lavender is known for its calming and relaxing qualities. It is also used for skin irritations and muscle tension. Lindsay said that lavender can “seriously be used for anything!” I used it on some minor skin irritations (aka zits!).
On my to-do list is to put some diluted sprays of lavender on Little Man’s pillow to help calm him at night. And then strictly for research reasons, I have a hot bath calling my name in which I will add a couple of drops to the water.
doTERRA Correct-X Essential Ointment is a petroleum-free, preservation-free ointment used in soothing skin irritations. I have yucky skin issues on my hands (too many dishes!) and used this product on it.
Read what Lindsay shared with me about her favorite products.
dōTERRA Essential Oils are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade, only what’s listed on the bottle is what’s in the bottle. No preservatives, no fillers, no chemicals. They can be used topically, automatically or for dietary use. We have been using essential oils daily with our family for 2 years. You’ve got an ailment, I’ve got an oil for that!

my favorite natural/homemade product is…probably candles made with essential oils, rather than perfumes! I'm allergic to perfumes, but I love those natural scents! Relaxing, and they make the house smell wonderful.

Favorite homemade product would be shower steamers. Especially the lavendar ones! We make a paste from baking soda, corn starch and water and bake it into little discs and then add essential oils when they cool. Throw them on the floor in the shower and enjoy! My kiddo with breathing issues loves these things because they make him feel better faster and without rushing into the emergency every time he has a cold.

Erin H. I am developing more "favorites" all the time, but for now I will say homemade broth from grass-fed beef bones. It's so easy in the crock pot and I can get extra nutrition into my little ones by using it to cook rice, etc.

Marsha L. My favorites are homemade laundry detergent and baby wipes!
Sara L says
My favorite is home made lotion. 3 jars of coconut oil, 1 pound of cocoa butter, 12 ounces of almond oil. Melt the cocoa butter and coconut oil over low heat, then place in the fridge until the mixture is semi-solid. Place the oils in a mixer and whip, as you would when making frosting. Slowly add the almond oil, and keep whipping until your mixture is smooth like whipped butter. You can add essential oils to the whole batch of lotion, or place the lotion in ball canning jars, and make smaller batches of lotions. My favorite combination is lavender, rosemary, and peppermint.

Amber R. I love homemade cleaners (mainly vinegar, baking soda, peroxide bases that are sometimes added to dawn dish soap if necessary).
Jill Whitney says
Jill W. and my favorite natural product is my cleaners. I use vinegar and dish soap solution to clean my bathrooms. The ingredients are safe for my 20 month old to be around while I'm cleaning, as she is mummy's shadow, and even help me "clean" without worry of the chemicals. It works great too and is super cost effective, which I love!
Michelle Robertson says
Michelle R. I love homemade oatmeal raisin cookies and hot chocolate. Someone made me a coconut scented lotion, and since then, I interested in trying lavender.
Kimberly W. says
Kimberly W. – my favorite homemade product is my all purpose cleaner. Half water, half white vinegar and some drops of tea tree oil and peppermint oil. It smells sooo good!

Amber B.R. – My favorite homemade product is NOT baby wipes, but baby wipe solution to spray from a bottle onto baby washcloths. I prefer washing the washcloths over throwing out the paper products, just my preference.
Baby Wipe Solution in spray bottle for cloth wipes:
1 c. water (can double water)
2 T. baby oil (EVOO or coconut oil is what I use)
2 T. baby wash (your favorite)
2-3 drops tea tree oil
