I looked out my kitchen window the other day to see Little Man doing something that he isn’t supposed to do. I stepped outside and told him to come here, which he disobeyed. Daddy took over for me at that point. From the kitchen window again, I saw a crying little 2-year-old trying to reason with his Daddy about why he shouldn’t be in trouble. Watching the tears stream down his face, I thought, “He is too cute.” Then immediately the Holy Spirit said, “Sin is not cute!”
Whoa! Talk about conviction.
How many times have I seen something sinful and thought of it in a positive manner? Besides my child’s actions, how about a blockbuster movie or a blouse that is too revealing… The list goes on.
Thank you, God, for speaking to me through the Holy Spirit to remind me of truth.

very true..so many times i'll have to hold back smiles or giggles and whatever when the kids are in trouble just because they're acting, well…cute! Thanks for the post!

Amen! I fall into the cute trap with my 3 year old twins…ugh! It amazes me sometimes how easily they sin and we let them off the hook because they are so cute. Working harder on that one!
God Bless,
