My mom made Handprint Christmas Ornaments for us when we were kids. Our kiddos love looking at how small my hand was my first Christmas. Now they enjoy looking at their own hands as well.
1. Draw around the child’s hand on a piece of paper.
2. Cut out the print.
3. Trace onto a double thickness of fabric (I used a pair of Daddy’s old jeans. Felt works great too.)
4. Cut out the fabric.
5. Sew the fabric together.
6. Write the child’s name, date, and age on the fabric (I did this after the photo)
7. Add a hook and hang on the Christmas tree year after year!
Use these for gifts to Daddy or grandparents!
Don’t have time to make these now? this post and make them when you have an opportunity!
